For your very own "Once Upon a Time and Happily Ever After..."

A special event facility inspired by the traditions and values of our Cades Cove heritage.  Just a stone's throw away from the boundaries of the Great Smoky Mountains, Sampson's Hollow is an event facility located on farmland that has been in the same family since 1879.

With a view of the mountain range on every side, the farm is truly in the middle of a peaceful hollow. Designed to reflect influence of our Appalachian heritage, any type of special event will have a tranquil, yet beautiful setting to create a canvas of everlasting memories.

From small intimate garden ceremonies to larger more elaborate events, the staff of Sampson's Hollow will assist you in every way they can to make your day as wonderful as you would have it to be. Our family promises to take extra special care of our guests because that's what our great grandparents would expect us to do.

What is romance? 
Romance is a state of mind.  It is that feeling that you have when you want to do whatever you can to make the other person happy.  It's not measured by the amount of money that is spent or the luxury of a gift given.  It's about making a special memory that will remain in the pages of your mind forever.  It's a moment spent together defined by time, space and each other.    Allow the staff of Sampson's Hollow to assist in creating the romance that can be found in all of our special events.

Dreams of Romance  Packages

The smaller ceremonies have been designed for those guests who do not require as much time on the property for their event.  These ceremonies are perfect for the out-of-state bride and groom who want to have their wedding in the beauty of the Smoky Mountains while avoiding the traffic and crowds of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. 

The garden ceremony can only be booked for weekdays or weeknights or Sunday afternoons. 

Should the guest prefer a later afternoon or evening event on a Saturday, please refer to the prices for single day events.

• Option A: For a bride and groom who wants a simple, romantic and beautiful ceremony, we offer a weekday or evening package which includes the following:  a ceremony held in Sarah's Glen or in the barn (in the event of inclimate weather), decorated for the occasion, including the minister or officiate, flowers for bride and groom, and small cake with sparkling cider, for no more than 5 guests is $575.00 for 90 minutes.  (not available for Friday or Saturday evening during regular season)
• Option B:  Our garden ceremony, including the minister or officiate, flowers for bride and groom, and small cake with punch,  cheese and fruit tray and mints or nuts is priced at $950.00 for 15 - 20 people.  Tables, chairs and white linens are also provided.   The ceremony site is fully decorated.  This package allows only 2 hours on the property. (Not available for Friday or Saturday evening during regular season).  For extra guests up to 35, add $12 per guest.
